On April 15th, the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA, Chairman Hiroyuki Takahashi) began accepting entries for the "Tour Grand Prix 2024," which recognizes outstanding travel plans. The program is open to proposals for packaged overseas and domestic travel, as well as trips to Japan, that took place between April 2011 and March 2012. Entries are being accepted until May 15th. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Tour Grand Prix. Entries will be judged on their originality, business viability, contribution to the industry, and other factors. The first round of judging will be held in late May, and the final round will be held in mid-June to determine the awards. The Japan Tourism Agency Commissioner's Award, Excellence Award, and Special Jury Award will be selected in the domestic, overseas, and visit to Japan categories. One Grand Prix winner will be selected from all the submitted works for the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award. The results will be announced on July 10th.
