On December 3rd, JTB (President: Hiroyuki Takahashi) will open a store selling Japanese agricultural products, "J's Agri Market," in the international gate area of Kansai International Airport's Terminal 1 in Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture. The store will be located in the area after the international departure passport control and will mainly sell seasonal fruits such as strawberries, grapes, and mandarin oranges, which are popular among foreign visitors to Japan. In September 2017, JTB opened the cross-border EC (electronic commerce) site "J's Agri" to sell Japanese agricultural products directly overseas. At the store, customers can pick up quarantined products purchased on the site up to seven days before leaving Japan, eliminating the cost of shipping them overseas. Another benefit for foreign visitors to Japan is that they can sightsee empty-handed during their stay in Japan. J's Agri Market will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
