KNT-CT Holdings' total travel transaction volume in February was 22,552 million yen, up 17.5% from the previous year. It was down 32.9% compared to the same month in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic. Domestic travel increased 1.4% year-on-year, but was down 32.1% from 2019 to 12,590 million yen. Although the company handled large-scale projects such as corporate conventions, event tours, and religious group visits, the number of workplace trips and tourism decreased, resulting in a 19.5% decrease from 2019. Among student groups, the number of school trips decreased, down 8.4% from 2019, and student groups other than school trips decreased 7.2% from 2019. Overall domestic group travel was down 13.7% from 2019. Package tours were down 8.8% from the previous year, down 35.9% from 2019. Overseas travel increased 176.9% year-on-year, but was down 51.5% from 2019 to 6,181 million yen. General group travel, despite an increase in sporting events and inspection/study trips, was down 44.2% compared to 2019. For student groups, school trips were down 14.7% from 2019, and the total for groups was down 37.0% compared to 2019. Package tours were up 314.9% from 2019, but down 55.6% from 2019. Travel to Japan was up 50.4% from 2019, and up 12.7% from 2018 to 1,905 million yen. Related products were down 35.0% from 2019, and up 165.5% from 2019 to 1,957 million yen. The transaction amount is the combined total of Kinki Nippon Tourist, Kinki Nippon Tourist Blue Planet, Club Tourism, United Tours, and KNT Shoji.
