On April 1st, the "Transportation Acceptance Letter" exchanged between travel agencies and travel service arrangers and chartered bus operators was partially revised. The retention period for transportation acceptance letters, which had been one year, has been extended to three years (electronic media is also acceptable), and the transportation acceptance letter, which was previously in a model format, has also been standardized. This has been made mandatory for both chartered bus operators and travel agencies, and the Japan Tourism Agency is urging member travel agencies to thoroughly notify the government through travel industry organizations such as the Japan Association of Travel Agents.
