JTB (President: Takahashi Hiroyuki) started "JTB Cruise Savings" on November 1st to encourage cruise trips. The interest rate is 3%, which is higher than regular regular savings plans, and encourages people to take cruise trips. JTB Travel Savings is a new product of Tabi Tabi Bank. The service amount calculation rate of the regular regular savings plan is 1.75%, but 1.25% is added to make a total of 3%, and it is accepted for a limited time. Three plans are available: 300,000 yen, 500,000 yen, and 1 million yen. Payment methods include lump sum, 12 months, 18 months, and 24 months. At maturity, a card will be issued with a service amount calculation rate of 3% added to the savings amount. The card can be used for five years after maturity. In addition, the first 1,000 people will receive a copy of "Rurubu Cruise All You Need 2018-19 (tentative title)," which is packed with cruise information, and those who apply for JTB cruise products will receive an onboard credit worth 5,000 yen after the expiration date. According to JTB, in 2016, about 250,000 Japanese people took cruises of one night or more, which is only 0.2% of the total population. The travel savings plan allows people to save money in a planned manner, and the plan hopes to encourage people to take a cruise trip.
