The Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) and the Taiwan Tourism Bureau held a two-day event on October 26th and 27th in Pingxi, New Taipei City, Taiwan.Joint Sky Lantern EventThe event will be held in Pingxi. Sky lanterns are an event where people make wishes on paper lanterns, light them, and release them into the sky. The Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival, which takes place every year on the first day of the lunar new year, is famous, but it is also popular not only in Taiwan but also in Japan as a tourist event that can be experienced throughout the year.
