On August 29th, Japan Airlines (JAL) and JALPAK launched a special tour to visit the "Hiki Kanosuke Distillery Festival 2024" to be held on November 10th in Hioki, Kagoshima Prefecture, in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the birth of the JALPAK brand. In addition to a special seminar held on the day before the festival and a tour of the distillery, participants can experience blending raw liquor for the first time at the distillery, bottle and taste their own blended whiskey, and have the right to purchase a "Distillery Festival Limited Bottle" that is usually sold by lottery. The tour runs for two days and one night from November 9th to 10th, and includes tours departing from Tokyo (Haneda) as well as local tours departing from Kagoshima Airport. The tour has a capacity of 30 people, with a minimum of 10 people required for the tour to take place. The tour fee is 150,000 yen per person.
