Nippon Travel Agency (President: Akihiro Horisaka)'s interim financial results for fiscal 2017 (January to June) showed consolidated operating revenues of 24,899 million yen, down 0.1% from the same period last year. The company recorded an operating loss of 819 million yen, an ordinary loss of 424 million yen, and an interim net loss of 280 million yen. Nippon Travel Agency's individual financial results showed sales of 196,526 million yen, up 3.2% year on year, operating revenues of 21,151 million yen, down 0.6% year on year, operating loss of 779 million yen, ordinary loss of 561 million yen, and interim net loss of 330 million yen. Operating revenues by division were 13,850 million yen for the domestic travel division, down 0.1% year on year, 4,108 million yen for the overseas travel division, up 2.4% year on year, and 2,681 million yen for the international travel division, up 17.0% year on year. For the full fiscal year, as in previous years, due to high sales in the second half of the year, the company expects operating revenue to be 53.8 billion yen and operating profit to be 1.63 billion yen.
