Club Tourism (President: Yoshinobu Koyama) announced on August 31st that it has entered into a business partnership with festival support company Omatsuri Japan (President: Yuko Kato). The aim is to revitalize local tourism by developing new tours themed on festivals around Japan. This is the first partnership to develop products centered around festivals. The two companies will develop tours centered around festivals. They hope to attract tourists to areas with traditional festivals, expand experience consumption, revitalize the area, and help resolve issues in each area, such as the decline in festival performers. In this partnership, Club Tourism will create and sell tours that incorporate new content to meet the needs of today's travelers. Omatsuri Japan will utilize its know-how, such as its production capabilities and networks with various regions, to coordinate experiences at festivals and interactions with local residents. As the first project, tours to be released on September 1st will be listed in Club Tourism's member catalogs and website. Tours to the strange festival "Akuso Matsuri" at Atago Shrine in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, departing on December 16th, are listed.
