The Kurashiki City School Trip Promotion Committee in Okayama Prefecture has established a school trip subsidy system called "Kurashiki Memories Trip." Travel agencies that have conducted school trips with accommodations in Kurashiki City during fiscal year 2024 will be subsidized with a portion of the travel expenses, 2,000 yen per person per night. The subsidy is for school trips of elementary, junior high, high school, vocational school, and support school that include Kurashiki City on the itinerary and include accommodations in the city. For school trips held between April 1st and March 15th, 2025, travel agencies will be subsidized with 2,000 yen per person per night for children, students, and pupils (excluding chaperones, crew members, and tour conductors, etc.). Applications are open until February 28th, 2025. However, this is limited to schools that have not received this subsidy system in the past three fiscal years (since April 1st, 2021). Applications are submitted to the secretariat with the necessary documents. After the trip is conducted, the travel agency will send a performance report. The member accommodations of the invitation committee are: Kurashiki Ivy Square, Kurashiki Royal Art Hotel, Washuzan Shimoden Hotel, Setouchi Kojima Hotel, Washu Grand Hotel Bizenya Koshi, Kurashiki Seaside Hotel, WASHU BLUE RESORT Fukago, and National Guest House Ryokanso.
