Onishi Tetsuro (former Executive Vice President) has been appointed as the new Representative Director and President of Meitetsu Tourist Service, effective March 27th. The appointment was approved at the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Directors on the same day. Former President Hishiki Toshihisa has been appointed as Director and Advisor. Onishi graduated from Ritsumeikan University in 1978 and joined Nagoya Railroad. After serving as President of Miyagi Kotsu, Senior Managing Director of Meitetsu, and Vice President, he has served as Representative Director and Vice President of Meitetsu Tourist Service since June 2017. He is 62 years old and is originally from Gifu Prefecture. Onishi will also serve as Representative Director and President of Hekikai Tourist Service and Meikan Kikaku.
