On July 14, JTB launched its domestic travel package "Ace" for the second half of fiscal year 2017 (departing October to May 2018). By refining regional tourism materials and setting original plans, the company will convey the charm of domestic travel. The second half of the JTB Group's company-wide campaign "Japan's Seasons" will be set in Hokkaido. With the theme of "Hokkaido, the Theater of Emotions," the company will promote the charms of Hokkaido through food, experiences, events, and more. In autumn, nine plans will be prepared, including "Onuma's Spectacular Views, Autumn Leaves, and Lunch Cruise" and "Shiretoko Pass and a Walk around the Shiretoko Five Lakes in Autumn," where you can enjoy the natural beauty and autumn leaves that are unique to Hokkaido. For food, the company will focus on hairy crabs and live shellfish and oysters, and original menus will be provided at accommodations and restaurants. For events, the company will implement special video projects at big winter events such as "Hakodate Christmas Fantasy" and "Sapporo Snow Festival." In addition, accommodations will propose a new theme of "views" in their "Unique Accommodations" series. In the second half of the year, the company will also focus on theme parks. Priority entry plans were set for Legoland Japan, Universal Studios Japan, and Tokyo Disney Resort. Original plans were strengthened for local tourism. In Kyoto, a premium bus tour took visitors around eight shrines and temples during the autumn foliage season, and in Osaka, a cruise tour accompanied by a Rakugo performer was one example of the plans that were prepared for each region.
