On August 8th, the three travel industry organizations, JATA (Japan Association of Travel Agents), ANTA (All Japan Travel Agents Association), and OATA (Osaka Association of Travel Agents Cooperative), whose offices are located on the 4th floor of OCAT (Osaka City Air Terminal) in Naniwa-ku, Osaka City, held a joint staff and executive meeting at the Hotel Nikko Osaka. ANTA Osaka Branch Chief Minoru Yoshimura (Kanki Travel Service), who called for the meeting and was in charge of organizing the meeting, said in his opening remarks, "This is the first time the three organizations have gathered like this since the three organizations moved to OCAT. The executives have changed, so we reached out to you. We would like to further advance our business partnership." He also mentioned that Osaka is in the spotlight at ANTA, with former branch chief Suemitsu Nagano remaining as vice president and auditor Tadasu Kawasaki remaining in his position, and said, "I would like to work proudly in Osaka so that the two of you can do your jobs well." Yosuke Kadokura, Secretary General of JATA Kansai Branch, said, "I am happy that we are now working on the same floor on the 4th floor. I hope that today's gathering will lead to the development and vitality of Kansai." After the meeting, members of the three organizations deepened their interactions. On July 12, the ANTA Osaka Branch held a joint social gathering for executives and cooperative association executives at Asahi Super Dry, also located in OCAT. Hajime Nishimura (Nishimuraya), chairman of the Osaka Zenryo Cooperation Association, also attended and said, "I was re-elected as chairman for this term. I would like to carry out meaningful and substantial activities in the final two years."
