On September 1, JTB West Japan started selling a common admission pass for 10 nightclubs in Osaka City to foreign tourists visiting Japan. The pass aims to improve nighttime tourism and entertainment, which are considered to be one of the challenges in accepting inbound tourists, and to make staying in Osaka more attractive. The common admission pass is called the "OSAKA NIGHTCLUB PASS." In collaboration with Tryhard Entertainment Japan (Osaka City), which produces 10 nightclubs in Kita and Minami, the pass allows free entry and exit at all clubs for three days. The pass costs 3,500 yen. It is only available to foreign tourists aged 21 and over. It is sold at four Kansai Tourist Information Centers operated by JTB West Japan at Kansai International Airport and Shinsaibashi, as well as the Osaka Tourism Bureau information center in JR Osaka Station. Nightclubs are popular with foreign tourists, and already 10-20% of the 10 clubs that the pass applies to are foreign visitors to Japan. The music genres, business hours, and store layouts are different, and each club has its own characteristics, such as Asian and Western. JTB West Japan stated, "We have opened a dedicated website and look forward to seeing a positive response. We hope to use this as a night culture creation project for inbound tourists to lead to experience consumption."
