The Hyogo Prefecture Travel Industry Cooperative Association (Chairman: Motohide Kadota, International Travel, 26 members) held its 42nd regular general meeting on February 22nd at Hotel Crown Palace Kobe in Chuo Ward, Kobe City. It was revealed that the total transaction amount for the 41st term, 2017, was 2.33 billion yen, 8% higher than the target of 2.15 billion yen, and the issuance amount of unified coupons was 1.6 billion yen, 10% higher than the target of 1.45 billion yen. For this year, it was decided to work towards a total transaction amount of 2.4 billion yen, unified coupon issuance amount of 1.65 billion yen, and Nippon Travel transaction amount of 750 million yen. In addition, it will continue and request Nippon Travel Agency's own ORC, and promote the transfer of customers to facilities that have signed bonus system agreements. It was also confirmed that the management efforts will be centered on three pillars: increasing transaction amount, strengthening the association's foundation, and exchange with other organizations. Regarding exchange with other organizations, cooperation with the newly launched HOK (HOK, Osaka, Kyoto) will be strengthened. At a separate venue, the 16th general meeting of the Military Travel Association Contracting Agency Cooperation Association (Chairman Kozo Kumano, Luminous Cruise) was also held. At the joint social gathering held after the general meeting, Chairman Kadota said, "A new system started last year. We set off on a two-year voyage from port on a new ship, and we would like to do our best to ensure that it returns to port safely," and called for cooperation and support from union members and members of the cooperation association.
