JTB (President and CEO Yamakita Eijiro) will hold an online "Regional Revitalization Seminar" from November 5th to 8th. Titled "Creating the Future of the Region," the program will have four themes. Examples of collaboration with local governments and companies will be introduced, and participants will gain knowledge that can lead to regional revitalization and increased interaction and population connections. On the 5th, Atsuya Kawata, Director of the Tourism Strategy Division of the Japan Tourism Agency, will give a special lecture entitled "What will the future of tourism look like by backcasting from the 2030 goals?", and on the 8th, Keiko Nishi, Deputy Director-General for Technology and Environment at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, will give a talk entitled "Let's bet on 'food' for regional revitalization!" Sessions and keynote speeches are scheduled for the 5th on "Creating Tourist Regions," the 6th on "Tourism DX and Digital Marketing," the 7th on "Inbound Visits to Japan," and the 8th on "Food, Agriculture, and Tourism."
